This policy explains what information Euchre HQ collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect as little as we can to run a free card game.
What we collect
- Guests:if you play as a guest, we don't create an account or store personal information. A temporary name is generated for your session and discarded when you leave.
- Accounts: if you sign up, we collect your email address (to create and secure your account) and the profile you set up — a display name, an avatar color, and an optional avatar photo.
- Gameplay:while you play an online table, we process your name, avatar, and in-game actions so the table works for everyone seated. We don't need or store this after the session.
- Preferences: settings like sound, animations, card back, and scoring style are saved to your profile (for accounts) or your browser (for guests).
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information, we don't show third-party ads, and we don't use advertising trackers.
Service providers
We rely on a few trusted providers to run the Service, and your data may be processed on their infrastructure:
- Supabase — accounts, database, and avatar image storage.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- Cloudflare (PartyKit) — real-time online tables.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's storage for things that are necessary to run the Service — keeping you signed in and remembering your preferences. We don't use cookies for advertising.
Your choices
- You can play entirely as a guest, without an account.
- You can edit your display name, avatar, and settings any time from the Settings page.
- You can ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing support@euchrehq.com.
Children
Euchre HQ isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll change the "last updated" date above when we do.
